Terms of Use

The provider of the information-society service under Section 4 of Act No. 22/2004 Coll. on electronic commerce is the Operator, registered office Budovateľská 50, 080 01 Prešov. Contact: info@appliedmeters.sk, tel. +421 51 758 11 69. The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI).

• „Website“ – the online presentation available at appliedmeters.sk and its sub-pages.
• „User“ – any person who accesses or uses the Website.
• „Customer area“ – the part of the Website accessible after signing in to a user account.
• „Content“ – texts, graphics, photographs, documentation, datasheets, software and other materials published on the Website.

You may use the Website for informational and business purposes in accordance with the law and these Terms. In particular, you must not:

• interfere with, or attempt to interfere with, the security, operation or content of the Website;
• collect data by automated means (scraping) or place a disproportionate load on the infrastructure;
• circumvent technical restrictions or access non-public areas without authorisation;
• distribute malicious code or misuse the forms to send unsolicited messages;
• use the Content in a way that infringes the rights of the Operator or third parties.

The website presents the company and its products. Product information and technical parameters are for guidance only, do not constitute an offer to conclude a contract, and the Operator may change them at any time. Ordering or purchasing through the website is not possible; any business relationship is established solely on an individual basis outside the website. Images are illustrative.

By submitting a form you provide the Operator with your contact details and the content of your message for the purpose of processing and answering your inquiry. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Do not send confidential third-party information through the forms without that party's consent.

• Registration requires true and complete data; you must keep your data up to date.
• An account is activated only after the e-mail address is verified and approved by the Operator's administrator.
• Keep your sign-in credentials safe from misuse; you are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
• Report any suspected account misuse without delay to info@appliedmeters.sk.
• The Operator may suspend or delete an account for breach of these Terms, at the user's request, or after prolonged inactivity.

Documentation, datasheets and software made available for download are protected by intellectual-property rights and are provided solely for the user's internal informational and operational purposes in connection with the Operator's products.

• The licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable.
• Redistribution, resale, making available to third parties and removal of authorship notices are prohibited.
• Reverse engineering of the software is permitted only to the extent expressly allowed by law.
• Software is provided „as is“, without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose; use is at the user's own risk.

The Website content, including texts, graphics, logos, photographs and its structure, is protected by copyright and industrial-property rights of the Operator or its licensors. Any use beyond ordinary viewing and personal use requires the Operator's prior written consent.

The Website may contain links to third-party sites. The Operator is not responsible for their content, availability or for any data processing on those sites.

The Website is provided „as is“. The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may restrict, suspend or discontinue operation, as well as carry out maintenance and changes to functionality.

The Operator is liable for damage to the extent set out by generally binding legislation. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of data or lost profit arising in connection with use of the Website or downloaded content. This does not affect a consumer's rights under mandatory legislation.

Legal relationships arising from use of the Website are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, and the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction. If the user is a consumer, mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence remain unaffected.

The Operator may amend these Terms. A new version takes effect upon publication on the Website. By continuing to use the Website after a change you agree to the current version. These Terms are effective from 28 August 2026.
